This is a commission where Joel worked very closely with the client. The client picked out a secretary desk on Joel’s website and then combined the details of two different pieces from his portfolio to come up with the final design. It is made of Birdseye Maple, Sapele, Ebony, Wenge and solid brass hardware. Lights were installed inside the desk and the upper cabinet. Glass shelves are used in the upper section along with glass for the doors called Artique, a beautiful textured clear glass
