A client approached me to talk about a project in the Art Deco Style—a design movement I had yet to explore, though I had always admired its elegance. Miami’s South Beach and the Chrysler Building, two stunning icons of the style, had long been personal favorites of mine. Following our conversation, the client sent me sketches of her vision along with images of Art Deco furniture pieces she admired. Inspired by her passion, I refined her sketches, adding intricate details and elevating the forms to create a series of custom, handcrafted Art Deco furniture pieces. This collaboration flourished, leading to the creation of many more bespoke designs for her. I am incredibly grateful for that opportunity.
