Tansu-Inspired Audio Cabinet
This custom-designed cabinet draws from the traditional Japanese Tansu aesthetic, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The piece integrates clean geometry, balanced proportions, and an emphasis on functional elegance.

Designed to house audio and video components, it includes two precision-fitted drawers for CDs, DVDs, and remote controls. The sliding doors provide concealed storage for oversized books, maintaining a seamless façade and architectural clarity.

Constructed from Curly Maple and Bubinga, with Ebony accents emphasizing form and line, the cabinet showcases the natural interplay of tone and texture. The combination of fine materials and thoughtful detailing underscores a disciplined design approach—where craftsmanship and architecture converge.

This Cabinet, like all of Joel’s pieces, is custom-made, giving you the freedom to personalize every detail, including size, layout, and wood selection.
