This cabinet was made in collaboration with the client. The first request was Zebrawood. Next we discussed the function and size of the piece, and then through existing pieces on my web site mapped out the design. My original proposal had the piece going all the way to the floor and the client re-sketched the design to what we see here. The cabinet is made of Zebrawood veneer with solid Wenge accent, and a Maple interior. Four doors are hung with European Hinges and wonderful touch latches. A cutout in the back was arranged to line up with the existing power supply on the wall. This piece is another example of my ability to work one on one with a client to create a piece of furniture that meets the client's vision.
